Loads of Love 2019
Every day, students across our region miss class because they don’t have access to clean clothes. On-site washer/dryer resources lead to improved attendance, provide tools for life-skills classrooms, and help involve parents into the school setting.
United Way of Greater Kansas City is proud to host the fourth #LoadsOfLoveKC campaign as part of Giving Tuesday. With your help, we can provide kids with not only laundered clothes, but the added support they need to consistently attend class and be ready to learn.
In our fourth year of celebrating Giving Tuesday through our #LoadsofLoveKC campaign, we’re going to make the biggest impact yet! We’re expanding our program reach outside of Jackson County and across the state line to benefit Shawnee Mission and Belton school districts. Help us achieve our goal of raising $25,000 to purchase washers, dryers and laundry supplies for area schools.
HOW TO GIVE
A gift to #LoadsofLoveKC is the most direct way to help keep kids in the classroom. We have successfully reached our goal for three years straight, and we’re aiming to make 2019 our fourth consecutive year! Make your donation any time by texting ‘LoveKC’ to 41-444 or donate online.
And there’s more you can do to help us make this a success:
