Motorcycle Sweepstakes
Prize. One Harley-Davidson 2012 VRSCTM V-Rod Muscle® . The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash or substitution. The prizewinner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, license and registration fees on award of the prize and for transportation to pick up the prize.
Eligibility. To be eligible for entry, you must be 18 years of age or older and not an employee, officer or director of any United Way or an immediate family member of any such person.
Entries. To enter, you must completely fill out an official pledge form, donate at least 1% of your annual salary and personally return the completed pledge form to an authorized representative of United Way of Greater Kansas City (UWGKC) no later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. One entry will be provided per person for qualified entries. All late, lost or incomplete entries are invalid entries, regardless of the cause.
No Purchase Is Necessary In Order To Win. UWGKC requests a donation of 1% of your annual salary to benefit its charitable purposes. Donations are encouraged, but not necessary to win. One free entry per person may be obtained and entered by picking up an entry form in person at the UWGKC office located at 1080 Washington Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and personally returning it to an authorized UWGKC representative at said office and during said hours, no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012.
Winning and Odds. Five semi-finalists will be randomly selected from among all qualified entries received consistent with these Official Rules in advance of the final drawing for the one prizewinner, and the one prizewinner will be announced during the UWGKC 2012 Annual Meeting. The decision of the judges will be final and binding. The odds of winning cannot be determined because they depend on the total number of qualified entries received. Entrants do not need to be present to win. If not present, the prizewinner will be notified by telephone or U.S. mail shortly after the drawing. If the winner cannot be notified within five days, an alternate winner will be chosen. To find out the name of the prizewinner contact UWGKC at (816) 472-4289 after April 20, 2012.
Claiming Prize. To claim the prize, the prizewinner must sign and return by the date UWGKC specifies in writing, an affidavit of prize acceptance form in which the prizewinner certifies his or her eligibility and agrees to pay all taxes, license and registration fees and other governmental assessments on the prize, authorizes UWGKC to use the prizewinner’s name and photo for publicity and releases UWGKC of liability as the sponsor. Any failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner by a random drawing.
Sponsor. The sponsor of this sweepstakes is United Way of Greater Kansas City, which may be contacted at the office and telephone number identified above.
Law. United States, Kansas and Missouri laws apply to this sweepstakes
