Corporate Volunteer Council

The Corporate Volunteer Council of Greater Kansas City's purpose is to bring local, regional and national businesses together to share, learn and participate in volunteering. The CVC's formalized council structure enables businesses to:

Pool their collective resources;

Share effective practices;

Deal with critical community needs on a larger, more visible and impactful basis, and

Address community needs through workplace volunteering.

CVC membership demonstrates your company's values to the community, achieves greater public recognition and reflects your company's mission and commitement to community.

Membership is our local CVC also enables you and your business to make a real and positive impact in our community by raising awareness of key issues including:

Aligning your business strategy with community issues;

Encouraging employee volunteerism;

Sharing best practices, and

Having the opportunity to network with and mentor fellow Employee Volunteer Program leaders.
